Hello!

I was told that I should update, and so...here it goes!

I've mostly been working at michaelangelo's the last couple of weeks, but other interesting things, with photos attached.

For Fourth of July, I tried to be as American as possible by......frying up a Peruvian dessert. Picarones! A Squash and Sweet Potato based doughnut type pastry, with lemon and orange based syrup (I made the syrup too) It was delicious.

The other day we made a pizza, Gabby, LeAnn, and I. My section is the bottom one, with chicken, and cheese on top of pepperoni and cayenne pepper. Awesomeness!

So I started making hats with a looming kit that I found at Walmart. Here is Gabby sporting a hat I made for her, all green but with some pretty spiffy designs (except I closed it off a little too early, but it stays on her head at least)

In other news, I've been trying out yoga. Apparently putting yourself into positions you almost never put yourself actually feels really good over time. 

School starts in a few weeks, and I...still don't exactly what I want to study. But I signed up for classes and apparently am sticking to it at N.C. State for at least one semester more if not more. Hopefully I can focus a little more this time and get straight A's and whatnaught.
